Hi everyone, we are the Blue House captains.
This year we are hosting Book Week. Book Week will be from the 28th of August to the 1st of September. The theme for this year is: Escape to Everywhere!
On Wednesday 30th of August we will be having our annual indigenous book swap which will be held in the gym at lunchtime. Bring your book/s to the gym before school. Bring a gold coin for each book you’d like to swap. At lunchtime come back to the gym and select some new books to enjoy!
That morning at 9.15 we will be hosting our exciting dress up parade in the gym. We would love you to dress up as your favourite book character and carry your book with you.
We will also be holding a short story competition, with the theme of strong and capable children with great prizes to be won from The Little Bookroom. Please leave your entries in the box in the office. The closing date is Friday the 15th of September.
