Do you have a story to share?

Last week, the students made a start on their country projects.  They have begun to investigate various topics and aspects of their country – both geographical and cultural.  Whilst doing our research, students have started to share their connections to these countries and stories have started to emerge.  An interesting connection that students have started to make is that their connections often start with their parents.  Whether their parents originated from that country or their parents have provided opportunities for families to create new connections with places.

We would very much like to embrace this connection with our parents! We would like to invite parents who have a story to share about the country their child has made the connection to, to join us in the neighbourhood. We welcome parents to share their stories and connections with the neighbourhood.  We are very flexible with days and times – whenever you are free, we can fit you in!

If you are able to share your story with us – please contact Jen by catching her in the neighbourhood or emailing her – bradby.jen.j@edumail.vic.gov.au

We look forward to seeing you all in the neighbourhood soon!
