Last week students started to receive various components of their book packs. We decided that to enable students to understand the bookwork expectations, we would slowly distribute the books. Each book was handed out during a focussed session on HOW work is to be completed in these books ie – date at the top, Workshop focus/learning intention and not leaving spaces between pieces of work. Students have so far received their writing book, readers response, maths, inquiry and visual art diary.
Students will receive their Take Home Book folders today, along with their Readers Notebook. More information will be provided about that soon.
Students also received headphones and usb’s in their packs. We have decided to hold on to these and name them, and they will then be stored in your child’s locker. If you are able to assist us with helping name the headphones and usb’s please come in and let us know
Pencils, erasers, sharpeners and glue sticks will be placed around the neighbourhood for collective use.
