Prep Postal Service is now up and running! We have set up a roster for collection of the mail in the mornings and delivery in the afternoons. All students will take part in collection, sorting in the Prep Post Office, and delivery every day. This will contribute to the students’ independence and confidence in navigating around tand connecting with the community members of the school. The students are also recording the amount of mail sent by each neighbourhood on a recording sheet. These are used in maths workshops to help with our counting on strategies. The result will be announced during assembly.
All letters are drafted in their writing books during writing workshops and provocation times before they are published. These are then enveloped with the correct address before students are given the stamps.
