Week 9 Learning Focus – What are the strengths of our community?

This week will be a HUGE week for our swimming program. Because of this, and knowing how exhausted the children will be, we are going to be focusing on resilience, persistence and emotional regulation in addition to the following literacy and numeracy focuses. 

Writing focus –  publishing and editing.

Reading focus – comprehension and retelling texts in multiple ways 

Numeracy – whole number knowledge and patterns   

Each afternoon we will be building in reflection time, to support emotional literacy and goal-setting drawing on personal and social capabilities.
