Design and Problem Solving
During the last two weeks 4/5 neighbourhood have been exploring the idea that design is used to solve problems. We have researched inventions which harness scientific understanding in order to solve a problem. The neighbourhood has watched a documentary ‘Designing a legacy’ which explored how architecture can be used to overcome environmental problems. Students are beginning to think about problems and possible solutions.
