Welcome back for an exciting and action-packed term four our year 2 community! It has been fantastic to see how all students in year 2 have come back ready to learn and support each other for the final term of what has been a great year so far!

One major focus in Year 2 this year has been teamwork and all the skills that make excellent teamwork happen. This is something our students have loved to work on and celebrate any wins!

We have worked on our group skills throughout our big projects like the Indigenous Garden (watch this spot the next week!), and all the way down to some of our little brain breaks. Some of the work we have done towards our collaboration skills have included role plays, presentations, posters, class and partner discussions as well as collaborative learning throughout all our learning.

All of this work has helped to enable our students to develop and lead the junior school in demonstrating our school values of ‘One Community’ and ‘Creating Strong and Capable Learners’
