Having fun during our finger painting and stamping activity. We used paints on a plastic sheet and then pressed paper into the table for some beautiful patterns. A great idea for sensory play! Last week we ran lots of great activities. Here are some of the highlights from the week. Puppet-making with fabric and paper bags. Tap tap art – using a nail and hammer to make pictures out of wooden shapes. Deyar’s wonderful body-painting during our face-painting activity. Some of her favourite flags of the world!
Tomorrow we begin our weekly archery workshops and there are still spots left to be a part of this exciting incursion. The workshops are run by Scott at the ‘Little Hoods’ archery incursion company. They will run for an hour every Tuesday for 5 weeks and are no extra cost to families. If this is …

On Tuesday 30th of February we took a small group of children on a walk to Zero Gradi on Lygon St as part of our curriculum day care. Everyone took it in turns of ordering their flavours. Even the staff at Zero Gradi commented on how patient and polite the children were as they waited. …

Today a group of grade 1s got involved with our film-making and dress up activity on the stage. The results were fantastic and made everyone laugh!
On the Monday before the Melbourne Cup public holiday we got out the feathers, pom poms and sequins to make some fantastic fascinators! Here are some of the children (and workers) showing off their designs.
In before care, Jessica, Sarah and Sunny ran a special puppet show with puppets that they made from paper and popsicle sticks. The rum ball cooking activity was extremely popular.
