Highlights of the Week Monday 8th of May – Friday 12th of May
We had lots going on in PHPS OSHC this week with Thursday and Friday both being curriculum days.
The week started off with lots of craft activities for Mother’s Day this weekend.
Ann P made a beautiful card from her mum to go with the presents that she bought from the Mother’s Day stall.
Efe C hid his Mother’s Day gifts inside a Lego construction that he made!
Outside, worker Tom had fun teaching Violet A, Owen C and Karoline L about music. He taught them about different sounds and tempos and together they made a band.
On our curriculum days we had lots of activities like cooking pizza and dumplings, jewellery making, a scavenger hunt, face painting and electronics. There was also lots of free-play for the children – indoors and outdoors.
Here we have Isabelle H as a fairy, Sunny W as Elsa, Tristan K as a vampire, Lyla R as Elsa, Sarah Joan C as a cat…
And Lottie P as a tiger!
We also made time for the Grade 5/6s to chill out with separate activities and space from the younger children in the ‘5/6 Club’. Hayden C, Linus M, Elliot E and Syed S did some film-making then spent time editing their videos together.
We hope everyone has a great weekend and Mother’s Day with their mums/grandmas/aunties/special people.
