San choy bau, volcano eruptions and chess club!
This week we got up to lots of different activities.
Our san choy bau cooking activity was extremely successful. All students involved were great helpers.
The children all agreed that they would love to recreate the meal at home. We used this recipe but we used beef mince and we added grated carrot to the mixture.

Here is Hugh giving the recipe the thumbs up!
In Science Club, the children made a volcano out of clay. We used vinegar and bi-carb soda to make a chemical reaction so that the volcano erupted. A video of the eruption will be posted on the blog very soon.
Jeremy set up “Free Chess Lessons”. Here he is helping some of the preps practise their skills.
