OSHC ‘Master Chef’ – Mystery Box Challenge Winners Announced
On Monday we conducted our weekly Master Chef Challenge. This week’s challenge was a Mystery Box challenge.
The Mystery Box contained pita bread, corn, capsicum, tomatoes, kidney beans, spinach, cheese, salami and chicken. The children separated themselves into two teams. They were given access to a range of cooking utensils and appliances.
The girls team made pizzas. They were very creative with their toppings and presented a few different flavour combinations.
The boys on the other hand, chose to make one pizza that was jammed-packed with all different toppings and lots of cheese.
Joe W put his own entry forward in the challenge by making a toasted wrap.
The judges (myself and worker, Olivia) really enjoyed tasting all of the entries into the challenge. Both teams were very creative in their topping choices and presented delicious pizzas and wraps.
The winning team for this challenge was…
THE GIRLS TEAM!
Well done to Raveena M, Jemima H, Iona F, Lexi C, Siena M, Javiera S and Isobel W.
Next week’s Master Chef Challenge is the Invention Test. This will be a very yummy challenge especially for those children with a sweet tooth! We’d love to have some new children involved next Monday.
