Our amazing students have excelled in their learning this week. As a collective we have worked brilliantly to prepare a short dramatic production for Fridays Assembly. Rather than share our excellent Shark Tank businesses with the school, our ambitious students wanted to share our classroom mysteries stories in an interesting performance.
This performance will highlight the way that humans create stories to explain how and why things are the way they are in the world. This happens in the microcosm of our classroom community just as it does in the wider world. Despite our doubts about student’s ability to devise an effective piece in a short period of time, we supported the group who have weaved our fun classroom mysteries together in an engaging play that the entire neighbourhood is proud of.
This really is the culmination of the semester’s communication and collaboration project and 3/4 N1 have demonstrated their capacity to commit to purpose, take on responsibility and work with a range of students to achieve a shared goal. We are so excited to share our performance with the wider school community!
When we return after the break we will focus on the sustainability of our systems, reflecting on our use of resources as producers and consumers during our shops project and as part of our community more generally.
