Andra` tutto bene!
It’s been wonderful to talk with the students about the things and people that help them to feel ‘felice e tranquillo’. In our sessions we’ve watched a wonderful and inspiring video which celebrates the Italian sense of community and resilience during lockdown, focusing on some key language structures and vocabulary. This led to an exploration of plurali (plurals) as we identified many examples in the song, Andra` tutto bene! Students have investigated vocabulary such as ‘amici’, ‘arcobaleni’, ‘animali’, ‘sorrisi’, ‘balconi’, ‘fiori’, and made observations about how plurals are constructed in Italian. As a wise student put it ,‘i’ is the ‘s’ of plurals in Italian!
