Welcome back, everyone! We hope you had a fantastic holiday. Excitement has been high in the prep neighbourhood as we jump into our first term together. The children have been amazing – listening well, adapting to new routines, and embracing primary school life.
In the first two weeks, we have focused on getting everyone comfortable in different spaces and routines, fostering a strong sense of community. We continue to get to know each other and build new friendships, both within the neighbourhood and the wider school community. The children love spending time with their buddies at break times and within allocated lessons, and have all enjoyed meeting and participating in lessons with our specialists (Italian, Art, Drama, P.E and Music).
The children have had lots to say and are eloquently contributing their thoughts to our many group discussions where we come together to learn from one another and share what we know about life at school.
Tigerlily – “When you’re looking at somebody it shows you’re listening.”
Alexa – “To stop someone from doing something you don’t like you need to be kind. You tell them.”
Harriet – “We are looking after the environment and we don’t put rubbish on the ground.”
Angus- “If its getting too rough you can say, ‘I think we need to play a different game.’”
Dexter – “We can include someone if they want to play with you and your friends.”
Here are some photos capturing the lively moments from these early days in Prep. We look forward to working alongside you, and your child throughout the year!

Looks fun! Hugo has been enjoying himself a lot – good to see where he’s been the last 2 weeks.
That’s great to hear! It’s a very exciting time for everyone. Hopefully we can maintain the enthusiasm.
