Building onto our focus on community and collaboration, the Prep Neighbourhood have been super busy learning all about how living and non-living things are connected. We have explored how plants and animals are dependent on each other for survival. To make this a more tangible experience, we have introduced tadpoles into the classrooms.
We have been observing our tadpoles grow from frog spawn to froglets over the last 10 weeks.
We even learnt about metamorphosis which we thought was just amazing! Frequently, changes happen slowly over time, but with our little baby frogs, each day brings some new change that can be observed and discussed. Here are some of out thoughts:
