Chess champion visits PHPS Every Friday this year we have run the 5/6 chess club. Today, to celebrate a great year of playing chess we held a special event. Ari Dale, the current Australian under 18 chess champion (and Jeff’s nephew) came to PHPS and took on all comers in a spectacular simultaneous chess demonstration.

Numeracy This week, we have been focussing on fractions. Students have explored the concept of the fractions as a part of a whole and as an operator. Talent show time slot

The Prep – 2 Talent Show starts at 12:20 sharp on Sunday. Children who are performing must make their way to the Performance Area at 12:10 to get organised for the show. The children involved have been practicing hard – We are looking forward to seeing the talented performers of the junior school.
