#la vita in cucina!

Buongiorno a tutti! This week students have engaged in a reflection of their term’s Italian learning. Students have indicated that they have enjoyed their explorations of Italian food, culture, and associated language and have particularly relished the opportunity to have agency in their learning, choosing ways in which to present their discoveries and growth. We’ve learned to name a variety of foods, to describe them using the correct form of the adjective, we’ve discussed likes and dislikes, to share special dishes that bring families together and even ventured into the cucina to make simple Italian dishes such as la bruschetta, la macedonia di frutta, la pizza! Our focus of #io resto a casa in cucina has given families an opportunity to connect through cooking, eating, sharing and discussions/interviews about food likes and dislikes. Grazie mille to parents and carers for supporting their children and often engaging in the language learning too…buone vacanze a tutti!
