Our wonderful business manager, Maree, is having her last week at Princes Hill Primary this week. She has been with the school for 29 years and has been a wonderful asset and she will be greatly missed. Last Thursday, our music teacher Deb was approached to write a song for Maree and have hopefully have some students sing it for her. The year 2 teachers jumped in and accepted the challenge. Less than a day to get a song ready for public consumption! The song was written in 30 mins on Thursday afternoon, practiced in 4 hours on Friday and performed at assembly that day! The result was amazing and Maree was very touched.
Today we decided to ‘lay down a track’ for Maree! Deb brought her guitar into the neighbourhood and we recorded our song – Sweet Maree.
