Swimming tomorrow
- We advise that swimming costumes are worn to school. If your child has a one piece, they can roll down the top half so that they can easily use the bathroom when they need to before they leave and it then put the top half on before swimming. This helps to maximise time in the water as we can get straight into the lessons when we arrive.
- Ensure that underwear is packed for them to get changed into.
- Pack a plastic bag for their wet swimmers to go into.
- Put a water bottle in their bag.
- If possible, choose footwear which is easy for them to take off and put on.
- If they aren’t doing so already, encourage them to be independent when drying themselves after a bath or shower and support them to get dressed into their clothes independently.
