Today the Preps took part in a workshop where they showed their understanding of time.
We went through the days of week and discussed the fact that we have different events on different days – and these events occur on a weekly basis.
Some examples of weekly events that occur in the Prep neighbourhood :
- Preps have 2 specialist classes on Tuesday and 1 on Friday.
- Preps change their reader on Thursday.
- Preps have coding on Wednesday
- Assembly on Friday
Examples of weekly events that individuals participate in:
- Swimming lessons
- Auskick
- Ballet
- Gymnastics
Each child chose events of importance during their week, allocated them to the particular day they do it and represented it by drawing a picture or writing words.
