As part of a reading workshop, the Preps explored the story “Peanut Butter and Cupcake”. It follows Peanut Butter and his search to find a friend. He attempts to make friends with hamburger, cupcake, egg, meatball, french fries and soup before he finally meets his best friend…Jelly!
The book was a great opening as it made way for some interesting discussion amongst the Preps, I particularly loved their suggestions around how they may ask someone to be their friend! Following our chat the Preps were asked to draw/scribe some ways they may be able to make friends.
