The Perceptual Motor Program (PMP) will begin Friday 28th of April during Term 2 and 4. It is in the gymnasium between 9.10 and 10.00.
The children participate in different activities at stations around the gym; each one will focus on building a particular motor skill. We are looking for parent help to run to assist with running each station (there is explanation of how to run it and it goes for 4 minutes per group, when the whistle blows the children rotate around to another station). For example, one station might be throwing a beanbag into a bucket 3 times.
We will be putting a parent helper sign up sheet on the notice board today. We are looking for least 8 parents to assist with each station. There are detailed task cards with each station, and the stations are set up before PMP begins. Younger siblings are welcome.
