Happenings Week 10

We’ve had a busy week in the neighbourhood as we look to the future. We have been thinking about the considerations we need to make in order to design for the future, such as the environment, how many people will live on Earth and health.

In Maths we have learning about area and creating our own maps using grid paper. We have then counted how many squares our communities take up. We are also designing mailboxes of the future and finding out the area of different things we might need to post.

In literacy we are coming to the end of our shared book, George’s Marvellous Medicine. Some children have made their own medicine recipes.
