The Preps learnt a new song last week – ‘The friends of ten’ The song helps children learn the combinations of numbers that can make ten. It also supports rhyme recognition with its rhyming jingle. eg – 5 and 5, danced the jive! 3 and 7 came with Kevin! 1 and 9 arrived on time! With
Students from both neighbourhoods have been investigating 3D shapes and how they can use these shapes by turning them into their own unique design/creation. They have options of drawing their designs, constructing using building blocks or using the ‘shape shifter’ site in playing with a wide range of 3D shapes. Both neighbourhoods were also required
