Tied in with our investigations into perspective, during NAPLAN the year four students were asked to collaboratively design the best PE game following just a few simple guidelines. This prompted discussions about what each of us thought were the essential elements of a fun game. When designing our games we tried to make sure they were safe and would include everyone who played, with rules that were easy to explain and follow.
We brainstormed ideas and shared our thinking together.
We tried a lot of different ideas to make our games unique.
We wrote down our rules and came up with a name for our games.
We tested our games by teaching them to younger students.
In the end we all voted for which games we thought were the best.
