House Swimming Carnival
After the snap 5 day lockdown and all of the COVID-19 restrictions we have finally been able to hold the yearly swimming carnival. On the 22nd of February, the Senior School went to Coburg Olympic Swimming pool and participated in the swimming events which were: Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, and Butterfly.
Reflection on our day shared by Harry and Giorgiana, the Health and Wellbeing Ministers for our Student Parliament:
We participated in the swimming carnival on the 22nd of February 2021. It was optional but years 3 to 6 attended the pool even if they didn’t swim.
We would like to thank Jared for getting everything together in a matter of days. If it wasn’t for volunteers there wouldn’t be a carnival and teachers for taking us to the carnival and guiding everyone along the way.
After everyone swam or cheered we had a chanting competition. The aim was to be the loudest and the most enthusiastic. In 4th place we had Red House with 5 points, Gold House 3rd with 10 points, Blue House 2nd with 15 points and Green House in first with 20 points!!!!
A big congratulations to everyone whether you were chanting or swimming.
Congratulations to everyone who competed at district!
