Students in year 4 have been documenting their experiences in lockdown. The historical significance of lockdown puts our students at the front and centre of this experience. They are part of an authentic historic experience and they have first-hand knowledge to comment on it.
Melbourne museum has provided a real world example of what a lockdown exhibition can look like, and students have produced their own exhibits. We have been preserving the history of the lockdown period by documentation through videos, slideshows, animation, stop-motion, posters and photographs.
